This SafeHabitus Policy Workshop brings together recent scientific research and practical insights from diverse stakeholders to foster dialogue with European policymakers on improving working conditions in agriculture through new technologies, AI, and digitalisation.

The seminar focuses on reducing accidents caused by farm vehicles and machinery, a leading source of workplace fatalities, by examining the potential of new technologies, best practices, and necessary policy, research, and funding measures.

Drawing on European and international examples, the event promotes knowledge exchange and is structured in two parts: an overview of technology integration practices that have improved working conditions, followed by a policy roundtable on scaling these solutions across different agricultural contexts and regions.
